- Navigate to Supply Chain to access the Supplier Library
- Next up, click on Suppliers to view and manage your supplier information and details.
- Next, click the Add Supplier button to create a new supplier
- Next up, enter the supplier name in the Name field to add a new supplier.
- Following that, select a supplier role from the dropdown menu to complete the form.
- Then, click the Submit button to confirm and add the new supplier to your directory.
- These fields are automatically populated when you create the profile in the previous step.
- It is recommended to always include your internal supplier code to ensure consistency and avoid confusion across systems.
- The “Hide supplier data” toggle can be enabled on a supplier profile to prevent that supplier’s information from appearing on public pages like traceability views or supplier profile.
- Add the contact email address(es) - you can include multiple. An email address is required to use Trace, as traceability and supplier assessment requests are sent directly to these contacts.
- Adding a description is optional. If you choose to display the supplier profile publicly, this section allows you to provide additional context about the supplier.
- After that, click the Save button to store all supplier profile changes.
- Use the Attributes section to manage custom supplier attributes that are important to you.
- From the Manage Attributes button, you can assign additional attributes to specific suppliers. Allowing you to differentiate between suppliers where needed.
- Check desired attributes and click apply.
- Enter attribute value to be assigned to this supplier.
- Afterwards, click the Save button to store all supplier attribute changes.
- In the Settings tab, you can configure supplier attributes and choose to set certain ones as default. Default attributes will automatically appear in every supplier profile.
- Afterwards, click the Media tab to view and manage supplier media files.
- Adding a logo is optional, but recommended if you plan to fully publish the supplier profile in the DPP. The logo will be displayed in the published view
- Click + Add Images to upload images to the supplier profile. This is relevant if the supplier profile is displayed publicly.
- Repeat the same steps to add additional images.
- Images can be rearranged by dragging and dropping them. The image order determines how they appear on the DPP.
- Click save to save progress after you uploaded all media
- Click the Certificates tab to manage supplier certifications
- Following that, click the Add certificate button to upload new certifications.
- Upload the file
- Following that, click the Next button to proceed with the certificate upload.
- Following that, click the Submit button to save the certificate data.
- Certificate will show up under certificate view in Supplier profile.
- Or access it through the Certificate Library.
- Click here to edit the certificate information.
- Upload a logo for the certificate. Otherwise, the first letter of the certificate name will be displayed.
- From here, enter a detailed description of the OEKO-TEX 100 certification in this field.
- After that, click the Save button to store the certificate information.
- From here, click the Assessments tab to view supplier assessment records.
- After that, click the Create Assessment button to start a new supplier assessment.
- There are two assessment types: Supplier and Trace. Choose Supplier if you want to assess the supplier as a whole (e.g. certifications, policies, general compliance).
- Choose Trace if you want to assess specific products. Once you select Trace, a new field will appear where you need to choose the purchase order you want the trace form to be sent for.
- Select the contact email address. The available options are automatically populated based on the email addresses added to the supplier profile.
- Select the relevant assessment template from the dropdown
- Then, click the Submit button to send the assessment to the supplier.
- You can monitor and manage the assessment directly from the supplier profile.
- Alternatively, navigate to Trace → Assessments to monitor the assessment there. This section provides an overview of all assessments.
- Click on Facilities to add and manage facilities.
- Click here to add a facility
- Use the Location search field to find and add a facility location. You can enter the full address, or at minimum provide the country and city.
- Next, indicate whether the location is the headquarters or a manufacturing facility.
- Next, click the Add facility button to register a new manufacturing location.
- Once location is added, click on the Show map button to display the facilities locations on a map.
- To add additional facilities click on Add facility button and repeat the same steps.
- All Supplier falilities will be displayed on the map.
- Click the Subcontractors tab to manage subcontractors linked to this supplier.
- A Subcontractor is a company hired by a supplier to perform part of the manufacturing process. This information is usually provided by Supplier in trace assessment.
- Click Add Subcontractor to link a subcontractor to this supplier.
- Select the supplier(s) from the dropdown to add it as a subcontractor.
- Click Submit to add the selected subcontractor(s).
- Click the chevron to expand and view subcontractor details.
- The supplier is now listed as a subcontractor.
- An Upstream Partner is a company that provides materials or components used to produce the product earlier in the supply chain. This information is typically provided by supplier in trace assessment.
- Click Add Partner to link an upstream partner to this supplier.
- Select partner(s) from the dropdown list to add them to the supplier profile.
- Click Submit to add the selected partner.
- Click the arrow to view partner details.
- The partner now appears under the Upstream Partners tab.
