Manage Multilingual Composition Codes Configuration

Create, edit, and delete custom product composition codes with multilingual labels. Standard ISO codes are locked, custom codes can be edited from the three-dots menu. The composition shown in the DPP follows the viewer's selected language.

  1. Navigate to Settings to access the configuration options.
  2. Next, click Configuration.
  3. Click the Composition Codes tab to manage product composition settings.
  4. Standard ISO codes are marked with a lock icon and can't be deleted.
  5. Custom codes you add for materials not on the ISO list have no lock icon, that's how you can tell a default composition from a custom one.
  6. Now click the Add composition code button to create a new code.
  7. First, give it a Code.
  8. Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required and must be filled in. Fields without one are optional and can be left empty. If you don't need a translation for a required language, you can enter the English name in that field instead, but it can't be left blank. In case you don't need the composition displayed in languages that have *, you can leave the English subtitle everywhere, but you have to fill it in.
  9. Once you've filled everything in, click Submit to save.
  10. The new code now appears in the list as a custom composition.
  11. To edit or delete it, click the three dots.
  12. And you will see these options in the dropdown list.
  13. This is just an example: when English is selected as the language in the DPP, navigating to Materials shows the composition in English.
  14. Once the language is switched to Dutch, the composition is shown in Dutch.
  15. And when Spanish is selected in the DPP, the composition automatically switches to Spanish.
