Configure Brand Settings and Email Templates

Set your brand name and contact email in General settings so they flow into the emails that go out, then customize the email templates for user invitations, magic codes, and supplier assessments to keep everything on-brand.

  1. Navigate to Settings.
  2. Click on General to access the general settings configuration options.
  3. In the General Data section, always make sure your brand name is entered in the Title field. This name will be used in the email templates that are sent out.
  4. Following this, click the Contact Information tab to configure contact details.
  5. Make sure an email address is entered here, as it will be used in email templates as the contact email suppliers can reach out to if they have any questions.
  6. Click the Email Templates tab to manage email templates.
  7. The Users section covers invitations sent to new members joining Brand Cloud, role assignments for users, and magic codes sent to users for secure login.
  8. Click the Admin Invitation template to customize the email content for invitations.
  9. If a template shows the label "Customized," it means this email has already been changed from the default. Note: we prepare some of the templates for you upfront.
  10. You can always reset a custom email template back to the default one.
  11. Since we've already customized these email templates with your logo and brand colors, feel free to edit the text by clicking on the template. Note: please don't change any variables (e.g. {{company_name}}, {{invitation_link}}), the logo, or the links.
  12. Afterwards, click the Save button to apply your email template customizations.
  13. You can follow the same process for the rest of the email templates you want to customize.
  14. Next, if you want to change email templates for assessments, click the "Assessment" section.
  15. Next, click the "All" dropdown to filter and select specific assessment templates.
  16. From here, you can select any available assessment template you want to change.
  17. Once the assessment template is selected, you can start editing the email text. Note: please don't change any variables (e.g. supplier_name, form_link), the logo, or the links.
  18. You can follow the same process for the rest of the email templates you want to customize. Note: if you don't customize your emails, the default ones will be sent to your suppliers instead, an empty email will never be sent.
