Add and Manage Suppliers

Add new suppliers to Brand Cloud, assign one or more roles, manage contact details, and enrich each profile with a description and website link.

Navigate to Suppliers.
Next, click the Add Supplier button to create a new supplier.
Enter the supplier name in the Name field to add a new supplier.
Following that, select a supplier role from the dropdown menu to complete the form. You can also select multiple roles for your supplier.
This is how populated area should look like if you selected multiple roles.
Then, click the Submit button to add the new supplier to the platform.
The newly added supplier will appear at the top of the list; click on Aegis Industries to populate the supplier's profile.
It is recommended to always include your internal supplier code to ensure consistency and avoid confusion across systems.
The “Hide supplier data” toggle can be enabled on a supplier profile to prevent that supplier’s information from appearing on public pages like traceability views or supplier profile.
Following this, enter contact email addresses separated by commas in the field.
After that, click in the Description field to add details about this supplier.
If you want to provide a link to the supplier's website, you can do so by clicking on the relevant word and inserting the link.
Click the Insert/edit link button to add a hyperlink to the description text.
Then, click on the [https://aegiscomponents.com/](https://aegiscomponents.com/) to select and populate it.
After that, enter your desired link title in the Title field to complete the form.
You can leave this empty or enter a title for the link.
Then, select "New window" to open the link in a separate browser window.
Now, click the Save button to confirm and save the link information.
Following that, click the Save button to preserve all your supplier information changes.
When the user navigates to the Traceability tab in the DPP and clicks the chevron to expand Aegis Industries, they will be able to view the supplier's details.
The link that has been attached in Brand Cloud is visible there, and users can click the website link to explore Aegis Industries' manufacturing profile further.
