The components step is a searchable list with a single-component detail editor, so a product with thirty components is navigable rather than one long scroll.
The step is three columns: the products rail, a components list, and a detail editor for the selected component. The list has search, All / Incomplete / Rejected filter tabs, a per-component completion percentage, a status dot, and a certificate shield showing whether that component has any attached certificate.
Components can be dragged to reorder. Navigation is split into three separate controls — undo and redo, previous and next component, and back and next step — and a passive “Saved” indicator reflects the automatic save, so there is nothing to remember to click.
When a material reference name is entered, its fibres are wrapped in a labelled Material card, and the material-level certificate is shown separately from each fibre's own certificate.
What fields are collected and how they validate is unchanged. Drag-to-reorder is disabled once an assessment has been reviewed, and while a filter or search is active.
