Accepting an invitation with Sign in with Google or Sign in with Microsoft applies the role and team the person was invited to, including for accounts that have signed in to the platform before, as long as the account isn't already in a team.
An accepted invitation is now recorded as accepted — for Google, Microsoft and the name form alike — and stays visible in the team's invitation list. Any other open invitations for that email address are closed at the same time.
The account's email address has to match the address the invitation was sent to; capitals don't matter. Signing in with a different account is refused and no account is created.
