Email alerts when a data sync drops records

Admins can turn on an email that lists the records a data sync could not import. Records with a critical issue are held back from the sync, so this is the earliest point to know a product, purchase order or supplier is missing from the app.

When a sync finishes and has opened new critical issues, one email goes out per integration. It lists each record in a table — identifier, field, what is wrong, and the source file and row number — with a button straight to the filtered list in the admin panel. Long lists show the first 20 rows and a count of the rest.

This is per person and off by default: Settings → Users & Permissions → open a user → Data Integration Alerts. It is available on admin users, for accounts with Data Integration switched on. The wording is editable under Settings → Email Templates, like every other template.

Only critical issues trigger an email. Each issue is emailed once, and again only if it was resolved and later reappeared. Emails go out when a sync finishes, so how often they arrive follows how often that integration runs.

The first sync after you turn it on sends the full list of critical issues that are already open, so the first email may be long before it settles into new issues only.
