Make Buttons and Hotspots Do Something When Clicked

Choose what happens when someone clicks a button or hotspot: open a custom page, the Digital Product Passport, an external link, a tooltip, or an expandable section.

  1. Click the Add button to create a new interactive element
  2. Click the Button option to add a button
  3. Rename the button to reflect its purpose
  4. Click the Action field to select an action
  5. Select Link to define a destination URL
  6. Enter the URL in the field (for example website URL)
  7. Next Action option is Page. Select Page to link the button to an internal page
  8. Select a page from the dropdown Please note, page has to be created first in order to be in the dropdown
  9. The button name updates automatically based on the selected page
  10. Add a new button and rename it to match the selected action - Report Lost Item
  11. Click the Action field to select an action
  12. Select Lost and Found to allow users to report lost products
  13. Add a new button and rename it to match the selected action - Register Your Product
  14. Click the Action field to select an action
  15. Select Product Passport to display product information To actually activate Product Passport, we must navigate to Settings and enable it.
  16. Click the Settings icon to open configuration options
  17. Enable Product Passport
  18. Enable additional options to be visible under Product Passport button like Material, Certificate and Traceability
  19. Click Save to apply your changes
  20. Additional sections can be added if needed
  21. Double-click the Digital Product Passport button to preview the action
  22. Product Passport content appears as dynamic data from Brand Cloud
