Link Subcontractors and Upstream Partners to a Supplier

Link other suppliers to a profile as subcontractors (downstream work) or upstream partners (raw materials/components) to map relationships in the supply chain.

  1. Navigate to Supply Chain to access the Supplier Library
  2. Next up, click on Suppliers to view and manage your supplier information and details.
  3. Locate supplier and click on the icon to view supplier details.
  4. Click the Subcontractors tab to manage subcontractors linked to this supplier.
  5. A Subcontractor is a company hired by a supplier to perform part of the manufacturing process. This information is usually provided by Supplier in trace assessment.
  6. Click Add Subcontractor to link a subcontractor to this supplier.
  7. Select the supplier(s) from the dropdown to add it as a subcontractor.
  8. Click Submit to add the selected subcontractor(s).
  9. Click the chevron to expand and view subcontractor details.
  10. The supplier is now listed as a subcontractor.
  11. An Upstream Partner is a company that provides materials or components used to produce the product earlier in the supply chain. This information is typically provided by supplier in trace assessment.
  12. Click Add Partner to link an upstream partner to this supplier.
  13. Select partner(s) from the dropdown list to add them to the supplier profile.
  14. Click Submit to add the selected partner.
  15. Click the arrow to view partner details.
  16. The partner now appears under the Upstream Partners tab.
