Suppliers record who did the work, not which template step to fill

A traceability row now starts with the supplier. They pick a facility, the process is suggested from that supplier's role, and several processes can be selected for one facility. Nothing is required beyond one filled row, so a chain of any shape can be recorded — including suppliers who are agents, vendors or trading companies rather than factories.

Material certificates are no longer tied to a fabric step. The supplier ticks which row supplies the material, under “Mark the company you'll upload certificates for”, and certificates attach to that company. Admin review shows the processes the supplier actually recorded rather than the ones the template expected.

The role-to-process matrix is yours to configure under Settings → Configuration → Supplier roles. It arrives with 36 processes and 52 roles, named in all ten supported languages including Chinese and Turkish, grouped into seven industries: Textiles & apparel, Leather, Wood & furniture, Electronics, Cross-industry, Circularity, and Trade & commercial. Roles can be filtered by industry and are grouped by it in every picker, and supplier, facility and role lists are alphabetical in the reader's own language.

Four textile processes were renamed: Raw material creation is now Fibre production, Raw material processing is Fibre processing, Fabric formation is Fabric production, and the forestry process is Forestry & harvesting. The renaming is in English; other languages keep their existing wording.

The assessment form was redesigned around the new flow — the component form leads with facility then materials, the top of the page is a single bar with a breadcrumb, and the sidebar shows progress dots. The supplier hub now runs on your own domain with matching navigation, so suppliers move between an assessment and the hub without changing sites.

If you already run textile assessments, everything keeps working: the visible changes are the four renamed processes, the reordered component form and the new hub navigation. Roles created by your own data sync carry no industry, so they appear ungrouped until one is set.
