Keep individual suppliers visible while hiding the rest

Supplier visibility is now set per supplier, so a flagship mill, tannery or factory can stay named on your public passport while the rest of your supply chain stays anonymous.

On Admin → Suppliers → open a supplier → Supplier data tab, a dropdown labelled Supplier data visibility offers three options: Follow global setting, Always hide, and Always show. A line underneath states what your brand-wide setting is currently doing.

Always show keeps that supplier fully visible — name, logo, exact location and their certificates — even when the brand-wide setting is hiding everyone else, and keeps their public profile page reachable. Hidden suppliers return not-found, and their certificates are left out of the product's public certificate list.

The per-step hide checkbox inside a product's traceability editor still wins for that step: a supplier marked Always show is still anonymised in a step where that checkbox is ticked, though their profile page stays reachable. Staff and distributor logins see full supplier data.

Existing settings were migrated — suppliers previously marked hidden are now Always hide, everyone else is Follow global setting, and no supplier was set to Always show automatically. The brand-wide toggle is not self-serve; contact us to switch it on or off.
